Our workshops are designed for adults with learning difficulties who are looking for a supportive and creative space to explore their talents, build life skills, and form meaningful connections. Personal assistants are also welcome to accompany participants.
We host workshops every Monday and Wednesday evening from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (term time only). Mondays are dedicated to themed craft sessions, while Wednesdays focus on confidence-building activities and teamwork.
Our workshops are held at North Point Church, a welcoming and accessible space within the community.
You can reserve your spot by booking in advance for each session. Due to our small group format, spaces are limited to 12 participants, with an additional six personal assistants if needed. Booking can be done via our website (joyfuljourneysclub.wixsite.com/coventry)
We offer a wide range of activities, including arts and crafts, group exercises, problem-solving tasks, and confidence-building activities. Each session is designed to foster creativity, teamwork, communication, and personal growth.
No, all materials and supplies for our workshops are provided. Just bring your enthusiasm and creativity!
Yes, our workshops are £25 per session with discounted rates if you book onto all 4 for the month or all 8.
Yes, personal assistants and caregivers are welcome to attend alongside participants. This ensures everyone receives the individualised attention and support they need.
If you’ve booked a spot but can’t attend, we kindly ask that you inform us as soon as possible to allow others the opportunity to join.
We maintain a small group size to ensure personalized support for each participant, and our venue is fully accessible. If participants have any additional needs or accommodations, we encourage them to inform us in advance so we can best support them.
Our workshops aim to foster creativity, enhance social skills, build confidence, and promote independence. Participants can also form valuable connections with peers in a fun and supportive environment.
